Cook posted a photo of himself and staff at the new apple store on Monday.

Apple aims to increase iPhone sales and manufacturing in India in a move that is similar to its strategy when it first entered China, which is now one of the company's largest markets.

According to the iPhone maker, the Mumbai store is one of the most energy-efficient locations in the world, has a dedicated solar power system, and is never dependent on fossil fuels to power its operations.
