Operation Gallant Knight 3, led by the UAE, has distributed 29,374 packs of Arabic bread to 293,830 individuals in Gaza, addressing the critical bread shortage in the region.

Initiated by the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) in November 2023, the humanitarian project under the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan demonstrates the UAE's ongoing commitment to providing vital aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza.

In a strategic move, the UAE dispatched five automatic bakeries to the Egyptian city of Al Arish, intended for entry into Gaza, aiming to alleviate the severe bread shortage.

When operational, these bakeries are expected to meet the daily needs of over 420,000 individuals, reflecting the UAE's dedication to supporting the people of Palestine through tangible humanitarian efforts.
