Dubai to Name New 55-Storey Skyscraper After Bollywood Icon Shah Rukh Khan

Dubai is set to welcome a new skyscraper named after Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, following the launch of Shahrukhz by Danube. The announcement came shortly after the actor’s 60th birthday, making it one of the most notable tributes to his long-standing global influence.
The tower was unveiled by Danube Group Founder and Chairman Rizwan Sajan during a gala event held at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai, where Shah Rukh Khan was also present.
A New Landmark on Sheikh Zayed Road
The commercial skyscraper will stand 55 floors high, with a helipad on Level 56, making it one of the standout structures along Sheikh Zayed Road.
According to the project details, the tower aims to represent ambition, innovation, and architectural excellence, reflecting SRK’s impact on global entertainment.
The building will be located next to La Suite Dubai Hotel & Apartments in Al Sufouh, with completion expected in June 2029.
SRK Shares His Thoughts on the Tribute
Shah Rukh Khan described the honour as “deeply touching,” saying Dubai has always been a city that inspires ambition and possibility.
He added that Shahrukhz by Danube symbolizes how belief and hard work can lead to extraordinary achievements, praising Danube for sharing the same spirit.
Packed With High-End Amenities
The tower will feature over 35 premium amenities, including lounges, sports courts, a sky pool, a clubhouse, prayer rooms, networking spaces, and jogging tracks.
Level 56 will host a helipad designed for helicopters and future air taxis, allowing VIPs—including SRK himself—to arrive directly at the building.
With its eye-catching design and signature SRK open-arms pose featured in its branding, Shahrukhz by Danube is set to become one of Sheikh Zayed Road’s most talked-about new landmarks.
