A Filipino bride has gone viral over the internet after she decided to continue her wedding after a typhoon hit.

Despite the havoc caused by Typhoon Doksuri, including power outages, flooding, and devastation, the newlywed couple remained calm and carried on with their wedding, refusing to let the storm bring their spirits down.

A video capturing the moment has gone viral, showing the bride wading through the water in the church as she makes her way to the altar. Her gown and veil gracefully float behind her as she walks, creating an unforgettable sight.

The groom and his parents appeared well-prepared for the occasion, with the groom's trousers cuffed at the bottom and he switched his formal shoes for a pair of slides. His father followed suit with the same attire. The groom's mother is seen gracefully lifting her gown as she navigates through the flooded church.

Receiving appreciation for their high-spiritedness, several people have commented on the groom's cousin's Facebook post which has pictures and short clips from the wedding.

Their cousin captioned the post, "There's no storm or flood for two people in love, so the wedding continues!"
