Dubai Fashion Week 2026 concluded on a high note as Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon turned showstopper for celebrated Indian designer Manish Malhotra, delivering a runway moment that has since gone viral across social media platforms.
Sanon, who shares a long-standing association with Malhotra, brought the curtains down on his showcase with a dramatic walk on February 6, capturing attention for her elegance, confidence, and couture-heavy look. The actor had previously walked for the designer at Dubai Fashion Week 2025, making her return in 2026 a much-anticipated highlight.
Taking to the runway as Ramba Ho Ho Ho played in the background, Kriti Sanon appeared in a striking white ensemble featuring a skirt, blouse, and sheer dupatta—each meticulously embellished with pearls. The monochrome look was elevated with diamond and emerald-studded jewellery from Manish Malhotra’s collection, adding a bold pop of colour and luxury to the outfit.
The showcase, titled The Indian Story: Inaya 2026, featured Malhotra’s signature design language, with brocade fabrics, intricate sequins, and richly embellished silhouettes dominating the runway. Jewellery played a central role throughout the collection, with models adorned in statement diamond and emerald pieces that complemented the couture looks.
Speaking to Gulf News, Manish Malhotra said, "Dubai is very close to my heart. I came here first in 1999 to shop for a wedding, and then, I launched my own store at Jumeirah Beach Road in 2005 (which later came to be known as Studio 8) ... I had this long journey with Dubai. Each time I come to Dubai, I find it so inspiring. There's always something new and fabulous."
The show concluded with Kriti Sanon and Manish Malhotra walking the runway together to loud applause, cementing the presentation as one of the standout moments of Dubai Fashion Week 2026.
