According to the latest update from the ICC Men's ODI Batter Rankings released in the aftermath of the three-match ODI series between India and England, India's top-order trio of Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have closed the gap to the world number one spot, with all of them placed within the top four. Gill is just one point adrift of number one Daryl Mitchell (802) with 801 rating points. He is now at the number three position with Kohli (767) and at number four is Sharma (758), which epitomises the power batting of the Indians in the 50-over game.
