One Injured from Shrapnel in Umm Al Quwain

An Indian national was injured by shrapnel after a drone interception incident near an industrial facility in Umm Al Quwain, authorities reported on Wednesday, April 1.
The emirate's media office reported that the drone was intercepted in the Umm Al Thuoob Industrial Area.
The office's statement read, "The competent authorities in the emirate dealt with an incident that occurred near one of the facilities in the Umm Al Thuoob Industrial Area as a result of falling debris following the successful interception of a drone by air defences, which resulted in the injury of a person of Indian nationality."
Earlier in the day, one Bangladeshi national was killed by shrapnel from a drone interception in Al Riffa area in Fujairah.
