Schools can decide to offer remote learning depending on feedback from parents, KHDA said.

The KHDA added that early childhood centers can also choose distance learning if it's suitable for the children's parents.

The authority announced earlier this month that Ramadan class schedules in Dubai should not include more than five hours of teaching time per day.

While most schools will run from 9 am to 2 pm every day, individual primary and secondary schools are permitted to alter the hours to the best school hours for their students and their parents during the month of Ramadan.

School students in UAE are set to have only eight days in Ramadan spent in the classroom, due to Spring Break 2023.

The holy month of Ramadan is expected to start on March 23rd and end on April 21st. The dates are subject to change on the basis of moon sightings.
