Authorities across the UAE are on high alert as the country prepares for a spell of unstable weather expected to last until Tuesday. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast rain of varying intensities, accompanied by strong winds and rough seas, particularly in the northern, eastern, and western regions.

The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), the NCM, and the Ministry of Interior (MoI) are working together to monitor conditions and ensure readiness across all relevant sectors.

According to the NCM, the weather changes are being driven by the extension of a surface low-pressure system from the south, which is causing atmospheric instability and localized downpours. The bureau also warned of reduced visibility due to blowing dust and urged motorists to exercise caution on the roads.

Residents are strongly advised to rely only on official updates from government sources and to avoid heading to waterlogged or flooded areas. Authorities reiterated the importance of following safety instructions as teams continue to assess and respond to the evolving weather situation.
