The UAE’s weather is taking a moody turn this week. According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the country will see unstable conditions from November 3 to November 7 — a typical scene when autumn slowly gives way to winter.
Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies, with chances of light to moderate rain on and off. Temperatures will dip slightly, and some areas might feel breezy, with winds reaching up to 40 km/h.
Fun fact: the lowest temperature recorded on Monday morning was a chilly 13.7°C in Raknah, Al Ain — a sign that sweater weather is officially on its way.
Why the Sudden Weather Mood Swings?
The NCM explained that the shift is part of the seasonal transition — that time when warm autumn air meets cooler winter systems. This mix triggers more cloud formation, especially over western and coastal areas, which can bring occasional rainfall and fresh winds.
In short, this week’s unstable weather is nature’s way of saying, “Winter is coming… slowly.”
What to Expect This Week
Here’s the quick forecast rundown:

-

Thursday: More clouds and a chance of rain, especially in Al Dhafra region.
-
