The Ministry of Family, together with the New Media Academy, the first academy of its kind in the Middle East focused on digital media innovation, has launched the Family Content Creators Programme. The programme is part of a wider plan to help participants create useful and lasting digital content that supports family unity, promotes positive social values, and helps raise future generations on the principles of harmony, compassion, and shared humanitarian values.

A Strategic Initiative

H.E. Sana bint Mohammed Suhail, Minister of Family, said: "The UAE believes that the family is the foundation of society. Supporting family stability and cohesion means investing in the future of the nation. As digital platforms continue to grow, it is now more important than ever to equip content creators with the skills and knowledge needed to produce positive digital content that supports families, improves quality of life, and reflects the authentic values of our society."

Her Excellency added that the Family Content Creators Programme shows the Ministry of Family's strong commitment to building meaningful partnerships that invest in people. It also aims to develop a new generation of influencers who can produce professional and responsible content on family-related topics, encourage constructive dialogue, strengthen family cohesion and positive parenting, and help create a safer and more responsible digital environment for future generations.

Programme Structure

The Family Content Creators Programme includes a complete training plan with two main tracks, designed according to high standards in professional training and digital identity development. The first track is a four-week intensive training programme. A total of 62 participants were selected from more than 500 applications. During one month, participants will take part in practical workshops covering family values, social awareness, and the core and advanced skills needed to create high-quality digital content. The programme covers the full content creation process, from scriptwriting and storytelling to photography, editing, publishing, platform management, and data analysis.

After the training phase, 13 outstanding participants will move on to the second track, a seven-month incubation programme. During this stage, the New Media Academy team will work closely with each participant through one-to-one mentorship to help build a strong digital identity and a clear content strategy. The incubation programme will also provide direct support for content production, creative direction, and professional publishing, based on a structured work plan and a clear timeline.

A Shared Vision

The programme supports the UAE's vision to strengthen the family's role as the core of a stable and united society. It also aligns with the country's direction to lead a purposeful digital ecosystem that serves social and development goals. In addition, it aims to improve participants' skills in modern digital media tools and value-based content creation for families, giving them the latest tools to produce professional media content with a real positive impact on awareness and behaviour.

The programme's goals reflect the shared vision of the Ministry of Family and the New Media Academy, guided by the UAE's national strategy to enhance family wellbeing while protecting national identity and family values. By supporting digital content that promotes love and stronger bonds between family members, highlights family stability as a key part of social security, and empowers a new generation of positive influencers, the programme aims to prepare skilled content creators who can deliver clear and effective messages for all age groups.

A Diverse Community of Talent

The programme follows an inclusive approach in selecting participants, bringing together different talents from the community to support diverse views and improve the quality of the content created. The target groups include content creators from beginners to advanced levels who are interested in family and community topics, as well as mothers and fathers who share content inspired by real everyday life. The programme also welcomes young people who want to create content that speaks to their generation in a modern and relatable way.

The programme is also open to professionals who support families, including specialists working with People of Determination and senior citizens, as well as paediatricians, social workers, teachers, family lawyers, media professionals, and experts who focus on government initiatives and achievements, including housing programmes and social benefits that improve citizens' quality of life.
