The UAE is officially getting its first-ever casino, and it’s coming fast. Wynn Resorts has confirmed that its $5.1 billion Wynn Al Marjan resort in Ras Al Khaimah is on schedule to open in March 2027.

What to Expect at Wynn Al Marjan

We’re talking next-level luxury: a 70-floor hotel with 1,500+ rooms, an all-suite VIP Enclave, 20+ restaurants, a five-star spa, and a glamorous shopping stretch. The star of the show? A 20,900-square-metre casino, complete with a “sky gaming” floor perched on the 22nd level.

More Than Just Gaming

The resort isn’t just about high stakes. Expect private beaches, pools with bungalows, a marina, and a huge event centre. Located under an hour from Dubai and only 15 minutes from Ras Al Khaimah Airport, it’s built to become a regional hotspot for tourism and entertainment.

Why It Matters

This is bigger than just a casino. By legalising gaming and issuing Wynn the country’s first 15-year licence, the UAE is positioning itself against regional heavyweights like Saudi Arabia, which is rapidly expanding its own tourism game. Analysts even say Wynn Al Marjan’s gaming revenue could rival — or beat — the Las Vegas Strip.
