Apple Reveals iPhone 15 Series With USB-C!

Apple unveiled its new iPhone 15 series with USB connectivity at the "Wonderlust" event, which was streamed from Apple's Cupertino headquarters in California on Tuesday, Sep. 12.

The base iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus now have Dynamic Island, the shapeshifting digital space that replaces the notch.

Its dual-lens camera now has a main 48MP sensor. 

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max come with a periscope camera giving them a 5x optical zoom.

The Pro models' USB connectivity is at par with USB 3.0 standards for speeds up to 10 Gbps, which makes them the first iPhones to use this innovation.

Apple did not raise the prices for the new iPhones.

iPhone 15 costs $799, the iPhone 15 Plus costs $899, the iPhone 15 Pro costs $999, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at $1,199 for the 256 GB model.

The implementation of the USB-C in the device is the biggest hardware change that Apple has made since 2016.

At the launch event, the announcement about an upgraded AirPods Pro with USB-C was also made. 

Media reports have shared that the USB-C would be integrated into AirPods and AirPods Max in 2024.
