The UAE will celebrate its 54th National Day on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, marking the historic union of the seven emirates. By law, December 2 and 3 are public holidays, and sometimes authorities shift these dates to create a longer weekend. This means you could enjoy a 4 or 5-day break if the December 3 holiday is moved to Monday, December 1.
National Day celebrations follow Commemoration Day on November 30, which could also be included in the extended holiday. Every year, the occasion is celebrated with parades, fireworks, cultural shows, and family-friendly events across the UAE.
