April 19^th 2022: Ahead of the Eid Al-Fitr weekend, Gili Lankanfushi, located on a private island in the North Malé Atoll, has announced an unforgettable package tailored specially for GCC guests.

With prices starting at USD 2700++ per night (for three-night stays or more), the Maldives’ most cherished resort will be offering a round-trip speed boat transfer from Velana International Airport, alongside a plethora of inclusive experiences to ensure each guest can walk away with the most memorable Gili Stories.

The Eid package comprises of both a daily gourmet breakfast and dinner at Kashiveli Restaurant, translating as ‘coral sands’ in the local Dhivehi language. Discover Gili’s gastronomic vision firsthand, where each dining experience is carefully crafted by the resort’s executive chef, Hari Govindaraj, and embodies locally sourced, nutritious ingredients and vibrant flavours through a marriage of land and ocean.

Expect a one-time 30-minute spa treatment per person at the Meera Spa, located in a secluded bay. The sanctuary of scented bliss is sprawled across languid waters and offers six over-water treatment rooms, steam and sauna rooms (which can be used as part of the package) and an open-air relaxation area, overlooking the most stunning and tranquil sea views.

Moreover, each guest can enjoy a one-time session of Fun Tube or alternatively, a windsurfing lesson, alongside non-motorized water sports activities which include, kayaking, canoeing, and paddle-boarding.

A one-time shisha session per stay will also be available, alongside one welcome sunset mocktail or cocktail each (to be consumed within 48 hours of arrival) at Gili’s renowned, Overwater Bar, which stands on stilts in the lagoon and floats in the dreamiest landscape.

Gili Lankanfushi recently renovated 45 villas are located overwater and offer open-air living spaces, roof terraces and private decks with direct access to the lucent turquoise waters that surround the island. The rustic-chic design is inspired by the resort’s natural surroundings, with glass floor panels offering a glimpse of the corals blooming below.

A warm, neutral colour palette is complemented by flashes of locally sourced turquoise fabrics, and every piece of furniture is custom made by skilled craftsmen using upcycled materials, including bed frames made from recycled teakwood and lampshades handwoven with recycled wire mesh to feature fish and sea turtles.

Daybeds on the private roof terraces can be made up with luxurious linens for an atmospheric night spent sleeping beneath the stars, and every villa and residence comes with a dedicated Mr/s Friday butler service, catering for guests’ every wish.
