Global Village Announces New Closing Date

Global Village has officially announced an extension of its 30th season, keeping the popular entertainment destination open until May 31, giving visitors more time to experience the cultural attractions and thrilling rides.

The extension, announced on what was originally scheduled to be the final day of the season, comes as Global Village continues to attract strong attendance from both Dubai residents and international tourists seeking family-friendly entertainment options.

"Season 30 marks a significant milestone for Global Village, reflecting three decades of growth, evolution, and success," said Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment. "It has shown the strength of the destination, the dedication of our team and partners, and the continued trust of our guests."

To enhance the extended experience, Global Village has introduced a limited-time Dh99 "Wonder Pass," offering unlimited access to Carnaval rides for an entire day. Available both online and at ticket counters, the pass provides access to more than 195 rides, games, and attractions spread across the park's bustling Carnaval zone.

Among the newest additions to the lineup are five exciting rides designed for thrill-seekers and families alike: Toronto Tornado, Cape Gliders, Rio Rocket, Desert Dashers, and York Bikes. For younger visitors, the "Little Wonderers" indoor play area continues to be a major draw, featuring obstacle courses, climbing structures, and interactive experiences.

Global Village has maintained extended weekend operating hours, remaining open from 5pm to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays, and until midnight on weekdays, providing flexible options for visitors planning their trips.

The decision to extend operations through the end of May reflects sustained visitor demand and the destination's confidence in its entertainment offerings as Dubai's outdoor entertainment season approaches its traditional conclusion. This extended period gives both residents and tourists ample opportunity to visit one of the region's most beloved cultural and entertainment venues.
