During the high-level visit, Sheikh Mohamed will meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss strengthening cooperation between the UAE and India across multiple areas of mutual interest, including trade, investment, energy, technology and cultural ties.

The visit reflects the Comprehensive Strategic and Economic Partnership that both nations have cultivated over decades, underpinned by robust economic engagement and a shared commitment to deeper diplomatic relations. Discussions are expected to focus on expanding bilateral collaboration, exploring new avenues for cooperation and enhancing people-to-people connections.

India hosts one of the largest expatriate communities in the UAE, with millions of Indian nationals residing and contributing to the Emirates’ economy and society, making the relationship socially as well as economically significant.

Officials say the visit will build on previous high-level exchanges and agreements, including recent pacts in sectors such as logistics, healthcare, infrastructure and education, that aim to further deepen the two countries’ longstanding ties.

The working visit, while brief, is expected to reaffirm the strategic partnership between Abu Dhabi and New Delhi and set the stage for future initiatives that benefit both nations.
