Honouring Six Inspirational Arab Innovators Across Key Fields at the Museum of the Future

The third edition of the Great Arab Minds Award ceremony is taking place at the iconic Museum of the Future in Dubai on Thursday, January 15. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, will honor six distinguished Arab thinkers and innovators.
The event, marking the most significant awards of its kind in the Arab world, celebrates exceptional contributions to knowledge, science, creativity and innovation. Among those attending are the winners’ families, academics, diplomats, officials, scientists and specialists from a wide range of sectors, underscoring the award’s growing prestige and regional impact.
This year’s laureates represent outstanding achievement across six disciplines:
- Natural Sciences: Professor Majed Chergui
- Engineering and Technology: Professor Abbas El Gamal
- Medicine: Dr Nabil Seidah
- Economics: Professor Badi Hani
- Architecture and Design: Dr Suad Amiry
- Literature and Arts: Professor Charbel Dagher
The Great Arab Minds initiative, often referred to as the “Arab Nobel,” highlights exceptional Arab talent whose work advances human understanding and contributes to societal progress.
