New Anime Star in Dubai: ‘Glitch World’ at Art in Space

Aniline Studio, a European-based creative studio, announced plans to reveal its latest anime project, “Glitch World”, at the famed Art in Space gallery in Downtown Dubai, which kicks off on January 24th and runs until the 30th of this month. The opening day will be exclusively set for true anime enthusiasts to give them first-hand access to the creator’s novel concept and latest projects, and dive deep into the inspiration behind the creation of “Glitch World”.

The “Glitch World” art exhibition will primarily showcase its anime cartoon video trailer, life-sized character prototypes and hand out anime stickers to visitors alongside a selection of branded merchandise for sale as posters, badges, pins, and keychains. During the event, guests will be able to enjoy several fun-filled activities such as mystery-themed computer games and interact with an AI character from “Glitch World” at the virtual HoloBox area. A colorful anime decorated press wall area will also be present where fans can capture photos or simply scramble their creative thoughts on. Numerous regional influencers and bloggers within the visual arts and gaming industry are expected to attend where visitors can meet and engage with them.

“Glitch World” is an anime concept envisioned by Diana Koroleva, one of the youngest creative visionaries with big plans to introduce a “fresh face” to the world of anime. Her idea is essentially based on the popular Japanese-themed anime genre but introduces audiences to new and distinctive characters, each with a different personality and superpower. The playset of “Glitch World” is led by four lead characters, namely: Glitch, Virus-Yamiko, Maya, and Tenshi.

Commenting on its official launch, Diana Koroleva, the creative mind behind the new anime concept said: “Glitch World is a concept born out of love for creativity, technology and a dream to create something truly alive. All elements and characters are crafted with heart and attention to detail to deliver a unique experience and immersion into our world of emotion and discovery.”

Diana Koroleva, who is 12 years old, has a great passion for creating characters and stories that focus on visual arts within the anime genre, where she turns her sketches into animated avatars with unique personalities and stories. Apart from her impeccable drawing talent, she has been learning about the Roblox Studio genre which led her to the co-creation of “Mystery Life”, recognized as her first milestone in producing a virtual game world inhabited by anime characters with the help of her production team.

Diana has also recently produced an indie mini-anime series about “Mystery Life” which brings her unique characters to life on the digital screen. One of her key inspirations is Japanese culture and language which are reflected in her aesthetics and attention to different emotions and moods. Diana is currently working on developing and fine-tuning "Glitch World" which will unveil her characters as part of an anime trailer to her already devoted fans, set for release in the following months.

Although “Glitch World” is in its early release and development stages, it received strong reception from young anime enthusiasts across the West, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. The cartoon concept is set to actively target markets with a strong fanbase for anime and gaming such as the US, Europe, and Japan in the coming years. The master developer of the anime concept, Aniline Studio, further hinted on plans to create a psychological yet age-friendly horror themed game within its visual novel genre as part of “Glitch World’s” future expansion trajectory.

Aniline Studio aims to solidify the brand’s long-term presence and portfolio through enhancing its digitalization and gamification features and offerings, with fully developed cartoon series episodes, online gaming quests, and an interactive AI operated virtual character, all of which will provide a fully-rounded and interactive user experience in anime, gaming, and digital reality.

It is noteworthy that during the first day of the event, one lucky winner will have a chance to win a grand prize–a stylish Ray-Ban Meta smart glass–which offers advanced features such as capturing hi-res photos, recording videos, playing music and tapping into Meta’s AI voice assistant. A set number of Mystery Boxes will also be given away to registered guests at the booth, who will be announced at 7 p.m. daily until the conclusion of the event.

Art in Space is a Dubai-based creative space and lab where "Glitch World” will officially unveil its anime concept to the public, providing an ultra-modern and multi-sensory hotspot where thousands of digital art creators and collectors can experience digital art, technology, and virtual reality under one roof.
