Tickets have officially gone on sale for the 2026 Reel Palestine Film Festival, as Cinema Akil prepares to host the annual celebration of Palestinian cinema at Alserkal Avenue.
This year’s edition presents a rich and diverse programme featuring 11 feature films, five short films and a total of 29 screenings, highlighting the depth of contemporary Palestinian storytelling across fiction, documentary and short-form cinema. Notably, the lineup includes two Academy Award–nominated titles, underscoring the international recognition of Palestinian filmmakers and their work.
Among the films screening at the festival are The Clown of Gaza, All That’s Left of You, Once Upon a Time in Gaza, Palestine Comedy Club, Palestine 36, and Put Your Soul in Your Hand and Walk, alongside other titles that explore themes of identity, resilience, memory and everyday life through powerful cinematic narratives.
In addition to the film programme, the festival extends beyond the screen with two weekends of the RP Souk, offering visitors an opportunity to engage with Palestinian culture through crafts, books, art and food. A series of workshops will also take place throughout the festival, creating spaces for learning, dialogue and community connection.
Reel Palestine has established itself as a key cultural fixture in Dubai, providing a platform for Palestinian voices in cinema while encouraging cross-cultural exchange and deeper understanding through film and shared experiences.
With tickets now available via Cinema Akil, audiences are encouraged to book early to secure seats for screenings and festival events, as demand is expected to be high for this year’s carefully curated programme.
