You find happiness advice all over the place. I found myself in a rut when I started looking for something more realistic and as a result, I immersed myself in reading the science-backed studies on happiness, the kind that researchers carefully select in advance so that they cannot manipulate the results to show only the positives. Happiness is not a matter of monumental shifts in one's life. It is a matter of small, surprisingly easy adjustments that, however, slowly but surely accumulate. Here are the seven changes that really made sense to me and even worked when I experimented with them.
