Abu Dhabi just saw the reveal of a rifle set worth up to Dh4 million, and it’s no ordinary collection. Showcased at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), the “Trinity” set pays homage to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan, Sheikh Zayed the First, and their legendary Arabian horse, Rabdan.
The Craft Behind the Rifles
The three Mauser 98 rifles are made from rich walnut wood, inlaid with 24-karat gold, and finished with intricate engravings. Each piece features portraits of the two leaders and Rabdan, telling a story of legacy, leadership, and horsemanship. With gold grips engraved “Abu Dhabi,” and barrels treated with advanced plasma tech for a deep blue sheen, these rifles blend artistry with engineering.
Heritage Meets Luxury
Rakna, the Emirati arms company behind the project, described the set as a fusion of heritage and modern craftsmanship. Each rifle contains 12 grams of pure gold, transforming them from functional hunting tools into collector’s treasures.
Only for the Elite
Displayed in a velvet-lined case with gold clasps, the rifles drew plenty of attention at ADIHEX. But there’s a catch—they’re only sold as a trio, priced between Dh3 million and Dh4 million, and expected to find their way into royal collections.
