Dubai Police just pulled off a major win after arresting Marko Dordevic, the man authorities say headed the infamous Vračarci clan—yes, the same group linked to violent gang wars in the Balkans. The takedown was part of Operation Haris, a coordinated international effort involving Europol, Serbia’s Interior Ministry, and Spanish authorities.

Who Is Dordevic and Why Was He Wanted?

Dordevic wasn’t just wanted—he was on an Interpol Red Notice. Investigators believe he helped fuel deadly clashes between the Kavač and Škaljari clans, a bitter feud that has reportedly left around 60 people dead across several countries since 2014. Dubai authorities worked closely with the Public Prosecution and Ministry of Interior to make sure every step followed strict legal procedures.

International Raids Backed the Operation

Operation Haris didn’t stop at Dubai. Raids in Serbia and Spain led to 12 more arrests, plus the seizure of encrypted phones, luxury cars, expensive watches, and nearly 300,000 euros in cash. Europol highlighted Dubai’s vital role in collecting evidence and executing Dordevic’s arrest, praising the city’s technical readiness and seamless coordination.
