Dubai Police have confirmed that cannon fire will once again mark the beginning of Eid Al Adha. On Wednesday, officials announced that all preparations have been completed for the annual tradition.
Cannons will be fired shortly after the Eid prayer, which is set for 5:45 AM in Dubai.
Six Locations Selected for the Cannon Fire
This year, six different areas across Dubai will hear the celebratory blast:

The cannon fire is expected to happen just minutes after the prayer ends.
