If you’re flying between Dubai and Riyadh this week, double-check your terminal.
flydubai has announced that all its Riyadh flights will shift to Terminal 5 at King Khalid International Airport starting February 25.
That means no more Terminal 3 for this route.
What’s Changing
From February 25 onward, all flydubai flights operating between Dubai and Riyadh will depart from and arrive at Terminal 5 in Riyadh.
The final flights operating from Terminal 3 will be FZ 843 and FZ 844 on February 25.
So if you’ve got a booking around that date, it’s worth arriving a little earlier and heading to the correct terminal to avoid any last-minute airport sprints.
One of the World’s Busiest Routes
The Dubai–Riyadh route isn’t just popular — it’s globally busy.
In 2025, it ranked among the top 10 busiest flight routes in the world, coming in seventh with 4.465 million seats.
That’s a lot of weekly commuters, business travelers, and weekend flyers moving between the two cities.
What You Should Do
If you’re flying soon:
-
Check your booking details
-
Confirm the terminal before heading to the airport
-
Allow extra time, especially during peak hours
A quick terminal check now could save you serious stress later.
