Snow Oman, the country’s first “winter” attraction opened its doors this Christmas weekend in Muscat.

became the biggest indoor snow park in the MENA region.
Snow Oman is the third and newest brand to join Global Snow, the indoor snow and ski entertainment arm of Majid Al Futtaim after flagship destination Ski Dubai, which was inaugurated in 2005, and Ski Egypt in 2017.
The attraction has a Desert Blizzard theme, which operator Majid Al Futtaim describes as "a reimagined world where Oman’s cityscapes and sand dunes are covered in real snow".
“We had some hot Belgium chocolate and visited Snow Oman. For some time, we were in the winter mode there,” expat Jasmine told Muscat Daily.
Snow Oman houses several family-friendly rides, including the Mountain Thriller, Snow Bullet, Slide Winder, Cloud Climber, and Zorb Ball, as well as Cold Town Muscat and a frozen shipwreck and lighthouse, in addition to a 475-square-meter ice rink.
The experience would not be complete without the signature custom-built penguinarium that houses colonies of king and gentoo penguins.
