The UAE Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (UAEICP) has issued an update to Emirates ID holders.
According to a recent notice by the authority, any changes to residency information would immediately result in a request for an Emirates ID replacement, Gulf News reported.
The authority has also streamlined process for residents to modify their Emirates ID card details.
This programme aims to improve speed and simplicity for consumers who want to modify their identity data.
Using their UAE Pass or username credentials, users can sign in to the authority's website or the UAEICP smart application.
