Great news for travelers! The UAE is rolling out a new project that lets tourists snag health insurance right when they apply for their visas. Announced on Monday by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), this "health insurance for tourist visas" is one of their cool new initiatives.
Major-General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, ICP’s director-general, revealed that this project is all about making life easier for tourists. You can now grab health insurance while filling out your visa application online, either through the ICP website or their handy app.

The main goal? To ensure you have health coverage for any emergencies during your trip. The whole process is automated, with an electronic platform handling the pricing and issuance of insurance packages from all the big insurance players in the UAE.
