The "No to Wrongful Violations" awareness campaign has been launched by the Ajman Police to improve road security. Residents of the UAE have been informed by the Ajman Police of the fines and black points for traffic violations.

Overtaking on the hard shoulder will result in an AED 1,000 fine and 6 black points for the driver.
AED 600 in fines and 6 black points will be imposed on those who move between lanes carelessly.
Truck drivers who overtake in restricted areas, such as hard shoulders and the wrong lanes, might have their licenses suspended for a year and fined AED 3,000, they added. Additionally, it warns against passing trucks in areas reserved for them.
