Dubai just set a new world record. The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre revealed the world’s largest silver bar, weighing a whopping 1,971 kg—a nod to the year the UAE was founded. The bar also earned a Guinness World Records certification.
A Silver Giant
Refined by Sam Precious Metals, the bar measures 1.3 metres and contains 63,369 troy ounces of silver at 999.9 purity. Its massive size and weight stole the spotlight at the Dubai Precious Metals Conference, drawing attention from industry leaders and enthusiasts alike.
Tokenised for Modern Ownership
Here’s the tech twist: the bar will be tokenised on a regulated platform, making it the first Guinness-certified precious metal object to do so. Through Tokinvest, each token represents direct fractional ownership of the physical bar—not a derivative or unallocated pool. Ownership will be verified on the Tradeflow commodity platform, giving token holders a stake in a specific, real silver bar.
Safe and Secure
The bar itself will be stored securely by global logistics firm Brink’s in Dubai. Token holders can rest easy knowing their investment is tied to a verifiable, physical asset, combining the excitement of record-breaking precious metal with the modern convenience of digital ownership.
