The Abu Dhabi Media Office said the debris resulted from air defence systems intercepting drones over the emirate, causing minor damage to the warehouse and surrounding structures. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and emergency responders quickly assessed the scene.

Mussafah, an industrial and commercial hub in the emirate, saw emergency teams at the facility after the debris fell. Although the area hosts factories, cargo terminals, and warehousing, authorities confirmed the structural damage was limited and did not pose an immediate threat to operations.

In its statement, the Abu Dhabi Media Office emphasized that the drones were successfully intercepted by UAE air defence systems, and the sounds heard across parts of the city were linked to those defensive operations rather than uncontrolled explosions. Officials reiterated that residents should rely on official sources for updates and avoid spreading rumours or unverified reports on social media or through informal channels.

The UAE has faced several similar incidents in recent days as air defence systems have engaged multiple aerial threats in the region. Authorities across the country continue to maintain heightened alert levels to protect civilians and critical infrastructure.
