Dubai's Arabian Travel Market Postponed to August

Dubai’s flagship tourism event, the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), has been postponed this year from May to August due to ongoing regional conflict affecting the Gulf.

Organisers RX stated that the decision was made to “prioritise the safety and well-being of customers, partners and colleagues, and to give the global travel and tourism community greater confidence and flexibility to attend.”

Originally scheduled for May 4–7 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the event will now take place from August 17–20 at the same venue. ATM is a major platform for tourism professionals worldwide to network, showcase innovations, and explore business opportunities.

The rescheduling comes as the aviation sector in the Middle East continues to face disruptions due to the regional war. Airlines across the Gulf are operating limited routes and flights, making it challenging for international participants to attend the event as planned.

Organisers assured attendees and exhibitors that the new dates would allow for safer travel and improved participation, while maintaining ATM’s status as a key global tourism gathering.
