UAE-based airline, Emirates, is set to resume flights to Syria's capital city, Damascus, this summer.
The flight service will resume on Wednesday, July 16 and will run three times a week, on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
The airline will increase the number of flights to four per week, starting August 2, with Saturday added to the schedule.
Flights to Syria from Dubai were halted in 2012 because of the outbreak of the Syrian civil war.
Recently, Dubai-based airline, flydubai, resumed flights to Damascus on Sunday, June 1.
Saudi-based budget airline, flynas, is also set to launch flights from Riyadh to Damascus on Thursday, June 5.
Another Saudi airline, flyadeal, is set to launch flights to Syria in July this year.
