The theme for the Met Gala 2024 is 'The Garden of Time', which is inspired by the 1962 short story of the same name by author J.G. Ballard.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute will feature the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”  on the night of the Met Gala. 

This exhibit will showcase 250 objects from the past four centuries of the Costume Institute's archive. 

The pieces from the exhibit will include artefacts from Schiaparelli, Dior, Givenchy, and others.

Alongside the editor-in-chief of Vogue Anna Wintour, Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Jennifer Lopez, and Chris Hemsworth are co-chairing the event. 

The event is sponsored by TikTok and Loewe, therefore Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Loewe, and Shou Chew, Chief Executive Officer of TikTok are also serving as honorary chairs.

Some of the celebrities who are confirmed to be attending the Met Gala 2024 are Rihanna, Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Olivia Rodrigo, Uma Thurman, Sara Paulson, 'The Bear' star Ayo Edebiri, the 'Killers of the Flower Moon' star Lily Gladstone, and  Gisele Bündchen.

Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas has confirmed that she will not be attending the 2024 Met Gala. Nonetheless, fans are curious to see which other Bollywood stars will attend this year's Met Gala.
