Queen Rania was born in Kuwait to Palestinian parents. 

From Meeting at a Dinner Party to Becoming Queen

Queen Rania first met her husband at a dinner party in 1992 and they were married in 1993.

Her husband then Prince Abdullah became King of Jordan in 1999 and she became Queen Consort at the age of 28.

The couple has four children and her eldest son and daughter both married in 2023.

Queen Rania first published a children's book 'The King's Gift' as a tribute to King Hussein on the first anniversary of his death.

Queen Rania has also written a short story titled "Maha of the Mountains".
