Here are the Airlines That Have Suspended UAE and Middle East Flights

Several major carriers have announced the temporary suspension of flights to and from the UAE and parts of the Middle East as regional airspace closures and restrictions continue.

India-based airline IndiGo confirmed it has temporarily suspended select flights operating through parts of Middle Eastern airspace due to evolving regional developments. The airline said some additional international services may also face disruptions.

IndiGo has advised passengers to check their flight status via its official website or mobile app. Affected travellers will receive direct notifications and assistance. The carrier is offering flexibility and waivers for impacted bookings until March 7, 2026, for tickets issued on or before February 28, 2026. Options include free rescheduling or full refunds.

Meanwhile, Dubai-based carrier flydubai has temporarily suspended all flights to and from Dubai until 3:00 PM UAE time on March 3 due to the ongoing UAE airspace closure. The airline said it is closely coordinating with relevant authorities and continuously monitoring the situation.

flydubai has urged passengers to rebook within 20 days where possible, update their contact details, check flight status online, or contact the airline for assistance with refunds or alternative arrangements. The airline reiterated that the safety of passengers and crew remains its top priority.

Low-cost carrier Air Arabia also announced the temporary suspension of all flights to and from the UAE until 15:00 UAE time on March 3 due to regional airspace restrictions. In addition, flights to Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and Iraq remain suspended until March 4.

Air Arabia stated that passengers scheduled to travel within the next 24 hours will be notified directly via email and SMS regarding alternative arrangements. Travellers who booked through travel agents are advised to contact their agents directly.

The airline has encouraged customers to regularly check flight status updates online and ensure their contact details are current through the “Manage Booking” page. It also asked for patience as call volumes remain high, emphasizing that it continues to actively monitor developments.

As the situation evolves, passengers across the UAE and wider Middle East are urged to stay informed through official airline channels for the latest updates on flight operations.
