The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted further significant dips in temperature over the following two days. On Tuesday morning, temperatures in the UAE dropped to a cold low of 2.8°C. On Wednesday and Thursday, thunderstorms are also anticipated to reach the Emirates, as officials issued a weather warning.

A representative for the NCM said, “Based on the forecast, the UAE will not be receiving snowfall, but we may experience a drop in temperatures with cold weather and scattered rainfall, Moderate rainfall is expected in the northern and eastern emirates.”

A moderate to light amount of rainfall will fall in several areas of Sharjah and Fujairah. Videos of rainstorms striking the eastern shore were provided by Storm Centre, and individuals could be seen wading through the streets.

The country is anticipated to see rain on Wednesday of varying intensities, along with thunder and lightning over scattered locations.  The following day (Thursday), the weather will remain unstable with a significant reduction in temperature.

Over coastal, northern, and eastern regions, there will be some rain on Friday and Saturday as well.
