META Film Fest to Return in November

The second META Film Fest, a four-day international motion picture gala, will take place in Dubai from November 9th to 12th at VOX Cinemas, Wafi City.

Filmmakers, industry insiders, and movie buffs alike can look forward to an amazing celebration of cinema at the yearly festival, which features the best worldwide films.

The awards this year will comprise 12 categories, including documentaries, debut works, student projects, feature films, short films, and films with a sustainability theme. Additionally, there will be some brand-new special categories to recognize local UAE talent.

Building on the overwhelming success of the first edition last year, the META Film Fest 2023 will put a strong emphasis on providing an exceptional experience through premieres of cutting-edge independent and studio-produced films, workshops, and masterclasses designed for aspiring filmmakers and distinguished, high-profile judging panel.

The META Film Fest is poised to strengthen Dubai's Creative Economy and support the National Strategy for the Cultural and Creative Industries of the UAE with the help of content partners like the Royal Film Commission - Jordan, Papillon Creative, Frontrow Entertainment, and MAD Solutions, as well as Festival Partners like Cinema Akil.
