Yas Island Launches Faster Ticketless Parking System

Visitors going to Yas Bay Waterfront, Yas Marina and West Yas Plaza on Yas Island can now use a new ticketless parking system from Sunday, July 6. This makes parking faster and easier for everyone.

The system uses automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) to scan your car plate when you enter and leave. There are no paper tickets, no parking barriers and no payment machines. Just drive in and out.

The new parking system is run with PARKONIC and connected to Salik. If your Salik account is linked, the parking fee will be taken automatically. If you do not have Salik, you can pay through the PARKONIC app or by SMS.

Yas Bay Waterfront parking

Parking at Yas Bay Waterfront costs Dhs20 for the first hour, then Dhs10 for each extra hour.

Some restaurants offer up to three hours of free parking with validation. Visitors going to the gym or beach may also get up to six hours of free parking each day, depending on the venue.

Yas Marina parking

Yas Marina parking has the same rates, with Dhs20 for the first hour and Dhs10 for every additional hour.

Some restaurant guests can get up to three hours of free parking, while gym users may get up to six hours free, depending on validation.

West Yas Plaza parking

At West Yas Plaza, parking is free for the first hour. After that, it costs Dhs10 per hour.

PARKONIC parking is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
