Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

350 grams spaghetti
½ extra virgin olive oil
300 grams cherry tomatoes (22 pieces)
6 garlic cloves, minced
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
¼ tsp crushed red pepper
6 basil leaves, chiffonade
Parmesan cheese for garnish

  1. Cook the Pasta

    Cook your pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
  2. Sauté the Veggies

    Add extra virgin oil to a nonstick pan and cook the garlic and cherry tomatoes for 3 minutes, until soft.
  3. Use orange, yellow, and red cherry tomatoes for a more colorful dish.

  4. Drain the Pasta

    Drain your cooked pasta, saving 1 cup of the water. Add the pasta to the garlic, oil, and tomatoes. Toss well and season with salt, pepper, and crushed red peppers.
  5. Serve

    Transfer pasta to a serving dish, top with fresh basil, and parmesan cheese, and enjoy.
