Filipino Police Tops Class in Abu Dhabi International Police Program

Two officers from the Philippine National Police (PNP) made the country proud at the International Police Exchange Program held at Abu Dhabi Police College.

Filipino Officers Take Top Spots

Major Inar Vic V. Florence from the Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office ranked first in the class, leading 51 international students from 35 countries. Police Captain Joseph G. Pelobello also made a mark, placing fifth.

The officers were recognized during the graduation ceremony on January 29, where H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, honored the graduates and top achievers.

About the Program

The program is part of the UAE Ministry of Interior’s Level 4 Post-Secondary Qualification in Advanced Police Science, designed to:

  • Enhance modern policing skills

  • Develop leadership abilities

  • Strengthen international law enforcement cooperation

Graduation Highlights

The ceremony also celebrated cadets from:

  • The 37th cohort of officer cadets

  • The 40th cohort of male university graduates

  • The 24th cohort of female university graduates

  • Students from various Arab and international partner countries

This achievement underscores the PNP’s commitment to excellence and its growing presence in global policing initiatives.
