Saint Levant Launches the 2048 Foundation

Palestinian artist Saint Levant has officially launched his 2048 Foundation, unveiling a new major funding initiative aimed at elevating Palestinian arts and culture through direct support to creatives across the region.

Unveiled on social media and through the foundation’s channels, the program, dubbed The Loubani Grants, will award 40 Palestinian artists with $5,000 each in seed funding to advance their musical projects, from songwriting and composing to production.

The grants are structured to run over a 10-month cycle, during which selected recipients will not only receive financial backing but also gain access to monthly virtual Fireside Chats with both local and international music professionals, as well as networking opportunities designed to broaden creative horizons and industry exposure.

Founded by Saint Levant in 2023, the 2048 Foundation is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to amplifying Palestinian artistic voices by offering mentorship, collaborative platforms, and resources that address longstanding systemic gaps in cultural infrastructure.

The foundation’s name refers to the year 2048, marking the centenary of the Nakba, a deliberate nod to envisioning a future where Palestinian culture and creativity thrive.

Artists interested in applying for The Loubani Grants can do so through the official 2048 Foundation website, as the organisation continues its mission to build community, visibility, and opportunities within Palestine’s creative scene.
