American pop star Taylor Swift swept the most awards at the MTV Video Music Awards 2023! Not only did she win the top prize, but she also won other awards.

Swift received the 'Video of the Year' award for the music video of her song 'Anti-Hero', which was the first single of her 2022 album 'Midnights'.

The globally renowned pop singer also received the award for 'Artist of the Year', beating stars like Beyonce, Shakira, and Nicki Minaj.

For the first time ever, the nominations for this award category were all female artists!

'Anti-Hero' also received the 'Song of the Year' award, the 'Best Pop' award, the 'Best Direction' award, the 'Best Cinematography' award, and the 'Best Visual Effects' award for its music video.

The most streamed album on Spotify for 2023 'Midnights' received an award for 'Album of the Year'.

This achievement is all because of the millions of Swifties around the globe who have not only jammed to the songs from the album but made it a significant part of pop culture with various social media trends revolving around the lyrics of the album.

The list of awards Swift received does not end here! She also received the award of 'Show of the Summer'.

Throughout her career, Taylor Swift has won a total of 18 VMAs, just two awards less than the record held by the 'Queen of Pop' Madonna!
