The Bold Survival Plan Stephen Hawking thought Humanity had to embrace

In his career, Stephen Hawking sounded out on numerous occasions that humanity is under long term dangers that can endanger its existence. Climate instability, asteroid strikes and technology abuse, he was of the opinion that the future of the planet is not a given. Instead of instilling fear he gave a viable line of direction. According to him, the greatest contribution that humanity can make is to become a multi planet species. He proposed that going extra-planetary does just that, the probability of survival in the long term is significantly enhanced.
