UAE's Civilian Victims of Missile Attacks Named

The United Arab Emirates has officially released the names of civilian victims who lost their lives during recent Iranian missile and drone attacks on the country, as the conflict in the Middle East continues to impact the Gulf.

According to UAE authorities, six civilians have been confirmed killed so far as a result of the ongoing missile offensive. The disclosed names include Alaa Nader Awni from the State of Palestine, Murib Zaman Nizar, Muzaffar Ali Ghulam, and Ismail Salim Khan from Pakistan, Ahmed Ali from Bangladesh, and Dibas Shrestha from Nepal.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims and strongly condemned the attacks, emphasising the loss of innocent lives amid hostilities.

The announcement underscores the humanitarian toll of the strikes, which have involved waves of missiles and drones launched toward UAE territory over recent weeks. The country’s advanced air defence systems have intercepted the vast majority of these threats, but debris from interceptions and falling projectiles have nonetheless caused civilian casualties and property damage.

In condemning the attacks, UAE officials reiterated their commitment to protecting citizens and residents while calling for an immediate end to violence that threatens regional stability. The government continues to provide support to affected families and coordinate efforts to ensure safety across the country.
