Planning your Eid outfits or outdoor plans? You might want to keep an eye on the skies.

Early forecasts suggest the UAE could see cloudy weather with a chance of rain during Eid Al Fitr 2026, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Cloudy Skies, With a Chance of Rain

Meteorologist Ahmed Habib said weather conditions are expected to remain partly unsettled, especially in the lead-up to Eid.

Rainfall, if it happens, is likely to come in short bursts rather than continuous showers, particularly across parts of Abu Dhabi, northern emirates, and possibly even Dubai.

Expect Changing Conditions

The UAE is currently in a seasonal transition from winter to spring, which typically brings quick shifts in weather—from clear skies to clouds, wind, or light rain within the same day.

That means forecasts could still change as Eid gets closer, so don’t lock in outdoor plans just yet.

Temperatures on the Rise

While there’s a chance of rain early on, temperatures are expected to gradually increase, potentially reaching highs of around 38–39°C in the days after.

What This Means for Your Eid Plans

  • Outdoor gatherings? Keep a backup indoor plan

  • Heading out? Expect mixed weather—clouds, maybe light rain, and some wind

  • Beach or park day? Best to check daily forecasts closer to the date

Bottom line: It’s not a washout—but it’s not guaranteed sunshine either.
