Rain isn’t going anywhere just yet. The UAE will remain under a rainy weather system until Friday night, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), with more heavy showers expected across multiple areas.
Rain to hit Abu Dhabi first
The weather system is moving in from the west, with heavy rainfall already recorded in some areas.
Conditions are expected to reach Abu Dhabi between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM on Friday, bringing periods of intense rain.

Dubai and northern areas next
After Abu Dhabi, the rain will move toward:

Residents in these areas can expect showers shortly after the system passes through the capital.
Al Ain and eastern regions to follow
By 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM, the rain is forecast to extend to Al Ain and eastern parts of the country, with continued heavy downpours.
More rain expected through Friday night
The NCM added that additional cloud formations could develop, bringing moderate to heavy rain across scattered areas throughout the day and into the night.
