UAE Opens Major New Dubai Road

A major new route leading to Dubai has been opened.

The start of the new academic year coincided with the opening of the Emirates Road E611 for motorists coming from Ras Al Khaimah to Dubai.

In a statement on social media, the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure said: “The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure opened the Emirates Road E611 for those coming from the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah heading to the Emirate of Dubai, coinciding with the start of the new academic year, with the aim of facilitating the movement of school buses, and ensuring their smooth flow in the region.

“In addition to raising the capacity of the road, which contributes to improving the linkage and communication between the urban communities on both sides of the road and the emirates served by the street.

“It is worth mentioning that the works are part of an integrated project to improve the current intersection in the Al Barashi area, which will be completed before the end of this year 2023”.
