An Asian man residing attempted suicide by jumping from the Ajman Bridge, because he was stressed about financial difficulties. Ajman Police arrived in time to rescue him before he jumped off the Sheikh Khalifa Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

The operations department received a information that an Asian national threatened to jump from the Sheikh Khalifa bridge, according to Brigadier General Abdullah Saif Al-Matrushi, Director-General of Police Operations in Ajman Police. The spot for the rescue operation was immediately approached by a criminal investigation team and police.
The Police shared a video of how they rescued the Asian man at the right time and stopped him from a Suicide attempt.
After rescuing the expat, a complete medical examination was also performed which proved that he was found to be mentally stable and free of any ailments. The community police reached out to the man to help him pay off his debts and clear the financial burdens.
