On May 24, Dubai authorities will practice an emergency drill at the Jebel Ali and Expo 2020 metro stations.
“The drill is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 24, between 1 am and 4 am,” The Government of Dubai Media Office announced on social media.

The "collaborative drill" will be conducted by Dubai's Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management along with a number of federal and local government institutions and departments to assess the readiness of working teams and the speed of reaction to situations of emergency.
Typically, drills are undertaken to gauge how well-prepared authorities are to handle emergencies. These drills are often conducted around the country. The goal is to assess emergency readiness, knowledge, and abilities.
